I’m pretty sure I’ve broken some sort of law for not ever once taking my children to Hole in the Wall.
One of my Facebook friends called it the “‘If you live in south OP, you must take your kids to the Hole in the Wall’ law.”
Hole in the Wall is what I’ve come to learn is an Oak Park favorite for cool treats to beat the summer heat. This unseasonably warm (global warming anyone?) spring brought the media spotlight on this family institution, which is open during the summers and closed during winters when the proprietors are off visiting their grandbabies in Texas.
One only needs to see these Kidz News testimonials to be converted.
We’ll report our reviews soon.
There are some very trustworthy reviewers in that video! :)I don't think I've ever had anything from Hole in the Wall other than the soft-serve cones dipped in various things. But I'm told that the blizzard-style shakes are really good too!

Interesting response to your blog topic from 'alpaca farms'. Anyway, you have definitely broken a law or two by not going to the HITW. try the homemade nutty buddys or the cookie sandwiches. YUM

The alpaca people are spammers and I loathe them and anyone they are associated with. Most of their spammy comments get caught up in my filter. I'll take your Hole in the Wall tips and put them to goo use.
