I Could Be a Clorox Commercial

Back to back games means a quick turnaround wash since this is my son’s first year of t-ball and we only have one uniform to work with.

Here’s what I got after Tuesday’s game: ground in ball field dirt, grass stains and a sprinkling of watermelon Italian ice, courtesy of Nick’s…

After some detergent and a lot of elbow grease…

I usually use bleach, but didn’t have enough laundry for a washload of whites.

The elbow grease did the trick this time.

  1. A bar of Fels Naptha soap really is what you need for cleaning sports' uniforms. Hand the bar to the athlete, and direct him/her to start scrubbing. (They still sold the F.N. when my son was in Little League– I don't know what's happened in the 5 years since then.)
