Food Storage Made Easy?

After my post Thursday about root cellars, I picked up a new follower on Twitter: Food Storage Made Easy.

It’s an interesting emergency food storage resource site. It’s chock full of ideas for literally shelving and keeping the food you need at the ready.

Plus the site is super cute, with a clean design (no surprise one of the mommy bloggers at FSME is a web designer).

I’ve been through the site and I’m still not sure I find food storage — canning and root cellars — particularly easy. But I like that others are out there doing some of the leg work for me.

  1. Root cellars seem intimidating to me! But what we have been doing is not hard at all. If you look through our site you can see we just started around June/July and have accomplished a lot already. We seriously knew NOTHING before we started our blog. Two other sites have been really helpful to us … everydayfoodstorage.blogspot.com – helps you learn how to USE the foods you store and thecrazyshopper.blogspot.com – teaches you how to get the food at the cheapest prices! Hope that helps a bit more as you are looking into the concept. Glad to be a new twitter friend :)Jodi (from Food Storage Made Easy)
