We just finished trying a new slow cooker recipe for Honey Chipotle Ribs. We bought the rack of baby backs for a guest, but never ended up using it.
As we ran out the clock on the time to grill them, we opted for the slow cooker.
I’m taking this as a first real sign, besides some downright chilly days, that fall is on the way.
I usually don’t get out the crock pot until it’s a bit cooler. But we’ll be looking forward to ribs tomorrow for supper when we get home.
Now I just need to come up with a veggie. I think I’ll pick something up at the Daley Center Farmers Market tomorrow at lunch.
Am thinking we may go with an heirloom tomato salad with a hint of vinegar, touch of olive oil and fresh basil from my backyard garden.
I have chili (Carmen style) on the stove.After fish sticks(M), smoked sausage (T)Commander Carry out (W). this is my first effort at some “real cooking” this week.I can almost smell the ribs.As usual… wish I were there!
