On Our To Do List: Visit Giant Girl Scout Corn Maze

Corn maze at Richardson Farm

At the tail end of our Girl Scout leader meeting this week, I learned that Richardson Farm’s giant corn maze was cut this year in honor of the Girl Scouts turning 100.

I’ve still not been to the maze with the kids, but I’m thinking we’ll have to make the drive north near the Wisconsin line to Spring Grove, Ill., to check it out.

It’s impressively intricate. I’m fairly certain we won’t do the zip line or orbit rides since our kids aren’t heavy enough or old enough yet.

But there is still plenty to do in addition to the maze, including hunting for the perfect carving pumpkins.

Admission ($13 for adults and $11 for kids, with 3 and younger free) includes the maze, observation tower, pedal bikes/trikes, and tube slide.
