| They’ll fight over it, but will they eat it? |
I was clearing away vegetation and weeds from a hard-to-reach spot in the Irving Garden, when I came across this giant zuke.
The kids couldn’t believe zucchini could even get this big (wait until they see State Fair veggies), so they quickly dug out the ruler so they could take its measurements.
Here’s how she measured up…
With the stem, this Irving Garden zucchini was 16 1/2 inches long, about 3 1/2 inches wide and weighed in at about 3 pounds.
I’m not sure what we’ll do with it. Maybe muffins or that delish zucchini bundt cake.
The last zucchini we harvested ended up in our slow cooker chili tonight.
