It’s been a busy couple of days at The Farm and I’ve done my share of photographing garden and local town happenings.
(I peeked up at the new flat top roof going down, but I haven’t been made to dip my gloved hand into a tar bucket).
I’ll post on all when I’m in a place with a better connection. There’s no uploading photos at these dial-up speeds.
We just got back from the Master Gardener’s place. She gave me an antique bottle capper that she rescued from a shed smashed to bits by an old tree toppled by the high-winds storm that blew threw here a couple weeks ago.
I said no to the yokes and other large implements that Hoosier Outsider will likely snap up. I had first dibs, so I took what would fit in my kitchen. I envision the capper sitting nicely on top of my Hoosier Kitchen.
More on the bumper ornamental gourd crop, today’s CSA haul, status of those broiler chicks, and the latest small town “hot rods.” Oh…and they’re beautiful, but does anyone know what to do with cleome?
